Smart Home Systems

Companies that build connected devices for the home, where the hardware sits somewhere anyone can reach it. They need the device to notice when something is done to it, and to say so afterwards.

Scope
Kernel driver work, board preparation
  1. Tamper detection

The clock chip can detect interference with itself and record when it happened. The Linux driver did not carry that support, so the product could not read it. We added it. It was the larger of the two pieces of work here.

  2. The development board

We prepared it for kernel work first, because driver work against real hardware needs a board you can break and recover.
